Request translation for captions

Lumina can automatically translate captions into 40+ languages.

Prerequisites

• The video has captions.
• Permission from your Lumina admin to request translations.
• You are the video owner or have caption/edit access granted by the owner.

1. Log in to Lumina and locate the video you'd like to translate captions for.

2. Hover over a video thumbnail and select More... to open the Media Details panel.

3. In the left-side navbar, click Accessibility.

4. Under the Actions column, click the Translate icon next to the caption file you want to translate.

5. From the Translation Target Language drop-down menu, select the desired langauge.

6. Click Send Translation Request. If your account can request without approval, the translation will start imvideotely. If approval is required, your request is sent to your admin for review.
